中文摘要The computational efficiency of spectral methods was evaluated for periodic unsteady flow computations with an implicit time marching method to accelerate the convergence. Also, the stability of non-reflecting boundary conditions for the spectral method for periodic unsteady flows was analyzed. An aeroacoustics benchmark problem and two-dimensional inviscid nozzle flow were simulated to validate the spectral method. The results demonstrate that the both accuracy and efficiency of the spectral method are better than the dual time step method for periodic unsteady computations. Thus, the spectral method can be used for many multistage turbomachinery problems.
