中文摘要We report here a simple emulsion-phase reduction strategy for the one-step synthesis of highly dispersed Cu2O aggregates from microspheres, to flower-like cubes, to octahedra at 70 degrees C. The size and shape of Cu2O aggregates are controlled by varying the reaction temperature and surfactant concentration. Highly dispersed microspheres (particle diameter ranging from 944.1 to 968.7 nm), flower-like cubes, and octahedra could be vastly obtained in a high yield (>90%). Scanning electron microscopy and transmission electronic microscopy showed that these aggregates were composed of small nanoparticles which appeared to be single-crystal in nature. The composition of the precursors for Cu2O aggregates was a mixture of the Cu(OH)(2) and CuO, and not the expected pure Cu(OH)(2). (C) 2009 The Electrochemical Society.
