中文摘要Gas leakage was studied experimentally and theoretically to improve the precision of the analytical model of the leakage rate for the leak-before-break technique. The experimental studies provided systematic data on the gas flow rates through narrow slits that was modeled in two ways. The isentropic flow model assumes that the gas flow is isentropic, but neglects friction and the flow disturbance, so the model is easily applied but not accurate. The transient flow model which only assumes that the gas flow is one-dimensional can simulate the main dynamic characteristics of the gas flow through the crack, so it is suitable for engineering practice.
