中文摘要Static and dynamic fracture behaviors of functionally gradient materials (FGMs) with linear variation of the shear modulus are experimentally studied with caustics method and high speed photography technique, and numerically investigated through finite element method (FEM). Firstly the caustics equations relative to the caustics principles and the elastic solution at mode I crack in FGMs are deduced through an iterative numerical method. Three kinds of specimens with different variation of shear modulus are synthesized by a gravity-assisted vertical casting process. Then three-point-bending experiments are performed and the caustics patterns are shot through CCD and high speed photography equipment. The static and dynamic stress intensity factors of FGMs specimens are obtained through caustics method. Finally, The experimental results are validated with the numerical results to investigate the influences of the stiffness variation on the static and dynamic fracture characteristics.
