中文摘要The effect of an AC electric field on the coagulation of charged particles was studied numerically by solving the coagulation equation for charged particles based on the coagulation coefficient for bipolar-charged particles in an AC electric field. The particle concentration in the external electric field was compared with those without any electric field. The results show that the coagulation rate of the bipolar-charged particles is increased significantly by the external AC electric field and the particle concentration decreases monotonically regardless of the particle charge. Particles with more charges more efficiently coagulate.
