中文摘要The effect of nano-ZrO/sub 2/ coated with 3 mol% Y/sub 2/O/sub 3/ on microstructure and mechanical properties of Al/sub 2/O/sub 3/ matrix ceramics was studied. It was found that microstructure of Al/sub 2/O/sub 3/ matrix ceramics was improved by adding nano-ZrO/sub 2/. When addition of nano-ZrO/sub 2 / reached to 9 vol%, ZrO/sub 2/ grains primarily located at interface and effectually inhibited Al/sub 2/O/sub 3/ grain growth. So Al/sub 2/O/sub 3/ matrix ceramics with fine grains can be fabricated. Nano-ZrO/sub 2//Al/sub 2/O/sub 3/ ceramics was toughened by residual stress, but not by transformation or micrographs. Which was not similar to that of micro-ZrO/sub 2//Al /sub 2/O/sub 3/ ceramics.
