中文摘要Ni-Mo alloy phase formed in TiCN-based functionally graded cermets was fabricated by spark plasma sintering (SPS) technology. Mo and Ni powders were originally added as metal binders in varying amounts between 10 and 40 mass% from surface to center. The specimens were prepared from high-purity and super-fine TiCN powders, sintered at various temperatures from 1500 or 1600 degrees C for 0.5 or 1.5 minutes. It was discovered that an alloy phase formed in the layers containing about 15 mass% metal binder. The alloys appeared as nearly spheric particles and their diameters were about 2~15 mu m, which were far larger than that of cermet grains. There were obvious fractures near the alloy. The major XRD peaks of the alloys agreed with those of Ni(C) and MoNi/sub 4 /. TiCN-based cermets containing homogeneous metal binders were fabricated in the same process. The same alloy phase was found in TiCN-(Mo, Ni)/sub 0.135/ at 1500 degrees C and 1600 degrees C.
