Dextran Based Calcium Phosphate Nanoparticles for Dual-modal Imaging Guided Photothermal Therapy

英文摘要Photothermal therapy (PTT) is an appealing strategy for tumor treatment. To achieve high therapy efficiency, the location of tumor must be precisely identified before therapy. Dual-modal imaging guided photothermal therapy (PTT) is utlized as an effective treatment for tumor owing to its accurate imaging to tumor sites. Herein, we fabricated a dextran coated ICG/Gd3+ dual-doped calcium phosphate nanoparticle system. The obtained nanoparticles with an average diameter around 150 nm exhibit high ICG encapsulation efficiency (DLC: 10.9%) and good stability. Furthermore, it was proved that the obtained nanoparticles could serve as a contrast agent to NIR imaging and enhance MRI in vitro. In addition, the in vitro therapeutic examinations showed that this system was an effective agent for photothermal therapy of cancer.
