英文摘要 | In order to analyze the influence of different loading cases to the hub bearing's fatigue life, the hub bearing Finite element method model was established using finite element analysis software ABAQUS. Under four kinds of different loading cases (two type of axial loads and contacts), hub bearing's mechanical properties of spindle are analyzed and its fatigue life is predicted. The simulation results indicated that under loading case 4 Mises stress level is highest, whose magnitude is 485.8 MPa. In loading case 1, 2, 3, the magnitudes are 291.9, 375.4, 354.0 MPa, respectively. And the location is also different. Under loading case 1, 2, 3, 4, the magnitudes of maximum stress on the subsurface are 171.3, 213.1, 124.4, 159.3 MPa, respectively. Its maximum stress magnitudes along the exterior surface of spindle in loading case 1, 2, 3, 4 are 207.3, 375.4, 352.4, 485.8 MPa, respectively. It reveals that increasing the fillet radius of spindle and utilizing the heat treating to improve the fatigue property are needed in the manufacture of hub bearing |
