中文摘要随着计算机网络及其它数据传输业务的飞速发展,人们对提高波分复用系统传输容量的需求日益增长,传统的石英基质由于其本身对稀土离子的溶解浓度低而不能满足需求,因此寻找合适的Er卜掺杂基质材料,对于光纤通信系统传输容量的扩展,具有非常重要的意义。虽然许多物理的或结构设计的方法用来弥补石英基质稀土离子溶解度低的不足,但不能从根本上解决石英基质本身带来的限制,因此寻找合适的Er,+掺杂基质材料,实现光信号的宽带增益放大,对于光纤通信系统传输容量的扩展,具有非常重要的意义。 本论文包括以下四部分:文献综述、实验过程与理论、Er3+掺杂多组分磷酸盐玻璃硬度、光谱性质和热学性质的结果和讨论、结论。 论文首先在文献综述中介绍了发展光纤通信的目的和意义,详细介绍了光通信器件光纤激光器和饵光纤放大器的研究进程,概述了涉及本课题的基础知识,然后根据国内外磷酸盐玻璃的研究现状提出本课题研究依据和研究内容。 在论文第二部分实验过程与理论中描述了实验方法、测试方法及过程,之后系统介绍了玻璃硬度测试原理和光谱理论分析方法,Judd一Ofelt理论和McCumber理论。 论文的第三部分是本论文的核心,详细分析了掺饵无碱磷酸盐玻璃的硬度,光谱性质和热学性质。从二元P2O5-BaO系统开始,到三元系统P2O5-Bao-A12O3,到四元系统P2Os-BaO-A12O3-La2O3,到五元系统P2OS-BaO-A12O3-LaO3-Er2O3,到六元系统P2Os-BoO-A12O3-CoO-La2O3-Er2O3和P2OS-BaO-A12O3-B2O3-La2O3-Er2O3逐渐选出硬度值最高的玻璃组分。在二元系统中,P2O5的含量从50~75mol%,玻璃的硬度先增加而后降低,在61-64mol%PZOS时,玻璃的硬度值较高。在三元系统中,首先确立了具有最高硬度值的玻璃组分63P2O5-10A12O3-27Ba0,而后在此基础上得到四元系统,五元系统,再到六元系统,以及各种碱金属氧化物、碱土金属氧化物和三价氧化物对玻璃硬度的影响,最后得到六元系统的最高硬度值可达到400kgf/mm2以上,在机械强度方面可以与硅酸盐玻璃相媲美。对未掺饵63P20,-3La2O3(8+x)Al2O3(26-x)Bao、63P205-3La2O3-10Al2O3-22Ba0-2MO(M=Mg, Ca,Zn,Ba,Pb)系统和掺饵63P205-loAl2O3一xLa2O3-yBaO-zEr2O-63P205一loAI:03一ILoZo3一(25一x)Boo一xcoo一IEr:o,、63P2O5-(10一x)Al2O4-B2O3-25BoO-ILaZO:厂IEr:03系统磷酸盐玻璃作热膨胀系数和梯温炉析晶性能的测试,得出了二价氧化物、三价氧化物对玻璃转变温度、热膨胀系数和析晶性能的影响关系。对于二价氧化物,玻璃的转变温度以BaO<PbO<CaO<ZnO<MgO的顺序增加,玻璃的热膨胀系数以Bao<Pbo<CaO<Zno<MgO减小。而CaO虽然能有效提高玻璃的硬度,但是过多的加入会导致玻璃析晶区域扩大。La2O3 、B2O3和Er2O3 都能够减小玻璃的热膨胀系数,La2O3和B2O3,可以使玻璃的析晶稳定性增强,而加入过多Er2O3、会导致玻璃的析晶区域扩大。最后研究了高强度掺饵磷酸敖玻璃(即无碱磷酸盐玻璃)的光谱性质,玻璃的主要成分是根据以上所讨论的硬度值较高的玻璃组分。探讨了二价碱土金属氧化物Cao、Bao,三价氧化物Al2O3、B2O3 和la203对稀土离子光谱性质的影响。 论文的第四部分是全部实验的总结。
英文摘要With the rapid development of computer networks and other data-transmitting services, the demand for the increase of transmission capacity of wavelength-division-multiplexing (WDM)system is urgent. The conventional silica based Er + doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) can't meet this requirement because of its little Er3+doping concentration. Though many physical and structural methods have been used to increase the Er3+doping concentration of silica based EDFA, it is important to find another glass matrix of Er + doping to obtain a larger ErJ+doping concentration than that of silica based EDFA, which is beneficial to the enlargement of transmission capacity. This dissertation is composed of four sections including: literature summarizations, experiment procedure and basic theory, results and discussions on the hardness, thermal and spectroscopy properties of Er3+-doped multi-component phosphate glasses and general conclusions. Firstly, the purpose and significance for developing optical fiber communication are introduced in the literature summarizations. The basic knowledge related to our task is summed up. In the second part, experiment procedure and measurement are introduced in details. As the core section of this dissertation, section 3 presents the results and discussions on hardness, thermal and spectroscopy properties in various Er3+-doped multi-component phosphate glasses in details. The glasses compositions include: P2O5-BaO, P205-Ba0-Al203, P2O5-BaO-Al2O3-La2O P2O5-BaO-Al2O3-CaO-La2O3-Er2O3 and P2O5-BaO-Al2O3-B2O3-La2O3-Er2O3, the glass with the highest hardness could be choosed. The influence of different oxides on the hardness of the glasses has been studied. For PiOs-BaO glass matrix, with the increase of P2O5 concentration from 50 mol% to 75mol%, the. hardness initially increased and further decreased, and the glasses with 61~64mol%P2Os have high hardness. For P205-Ba0-Al203 glass matrix, 63P2Os-10Al2O3-27BaO glasses have the highest hardness and the hardness has been higher than 400kgf/mm2. On the base of 63P2O5-10Al2O3-27BaO, the change of hardness has been observed with different oxides substitution for BaO. The hardness of glasses decreases with the increase of alkaline oxides except Li+. Among the bivalent oxides, the hardness increased in the order of PbO 63P2O5-(10-x)Al2O3-xB2O3-25BaO -lLa203-lEr203 were studied. The glass transition temperature increased in the order of BaO B2O3 and L^Oi on spectra properties of glasses were studied.. Section 4 is the summarization of the dissertation.
