中文摘要本报告主要研究光子与原子间的量子关联传递机制及其在原子激光束的量子控制方面的应用。首先,对于NflT的脉冲原子激光实验,采用两能级模型进行的分析揭示出有趣的量子转化现象:利用输入的压缩光场可以制备具有量子压缩特性的原子激光,也可以对输入的弱源原子束进行相干放大;此外利用Feshbach共振技术还可以方便的研究输出模中非线性原子相互作用对原子激光相干性的影响。其次,利用阱外设置的近共振情形下Feshbach共振区域可以给出制备相干原子一分子混合束的理论方案,对于远离共振情形,则可以在平均场近似下得到有效的Kerr相互作用,从而形成原子场的二次谐振产生;此外,利用一般的两能级模型还可以分析和比较原子介质中有联系然而本质上不同的两类物理效应,即双模非经典关联与宏观的原子自旋压缩纠缠。最后,还可以研究多能级原子系统中的量子态传递机制,特别是实现所谓孤波原子激光(三能级系统)以及量子开关(四能级系统)的可行性方案。此外还初步研究了原子波导中的边界效应,即边界起伏区域以及原子间相互作用对于原子凝聚体集体激发的影响(真空声子产生的动力学Casimir效应)以及两种不同的耗散模型(Leggett标准模型与Shao自旋海模型)对几何量子计算的影响等。
英文摘要The focus of this thesis is on the quantum state transfer mechanism between photons and atoms and its applications in quantum control of an atom laser beam. For the first MIT pulsed atom laser, quantum conversion for a simple two-level model is used in two aspects: making a squeezed atom laser by applying a squeezed light, and coherent amplification for a weak atomic seed. The possible influence of the nonlinear atomic collisions in propagating mode on the atom laser is also analyzed, after eliminating the inside-trap atomic interactions through the Feshbach resonance (FR) technique. The second part of this work is to probe the influence of an optical sheet of outside-trap FR on the output atoms, particularly the possible formation of a coherent hybrid atomic-molecular beam. Mean-field approach is applied to study the far-off resonance case in order to obtain an effective Kerr atomic interaction which can lead to an atomic analogy of optical second-harmonic generation. The more interesting near-resonance case is showed to exhibit the squeezing-free behaviors for both the atomic and molecular components in the short-time limits. Finally two related but essentially different effects, e.g., the two-mode non-classical correlations and atomic spin squeezing entanglement, are compared in a generalized two-level system. The investigations of quantum state transfer between photons and atoms in multi-level atomic system can be more interesting, from which we present a feasible scheme for soliton atom laser in three-level system as七he nonlinear case of Fleischhauer-Gong scheme for a continuous non-classical atom laser. Some related works are also briefly probed such as the quantum switching in four-level system and the boundary effects on the atomic excitations for a moving atom laser beam (sonic Casimir effect).
