中文摘要超强超短脉冲激光的出现,推动了光与物质相互作用研究的发展,拓宽了激光的应用领域。目前在拍瓦(1015 W)量级激光器上获得的最高聚焦强度已超过1021 W/cm2,而超短激光脉冲时间宽度则己短至几个飞秒(10-15 s)。这些成就为极短波长的X射线源、特别是相干X射线源的获得提供了强有力的支持。利用高强度激光与等离子体相互作用产生X射线的研究现在已经成为强场激光物理领域的热点,并推动了激光泵浦X射线源在光刻、生物成像及超快动力学探测等方面的应用。
英文摘要The invention of ultraintense and ultrashort laser pulse greatly romotes the research of laser-matter interaction, and extends the domain of laser application. Now petawatt (PW) and terawatt (TW) lasers are applied widely, and the highest intensity is over 1021 W/cm2, while the shortest pulse duration is down to several femtosecond and few cycles. These achievements supply a powerful support for the generation of nanometer and sub-nanometer wavelength X-ray, especially the coherent X-ray, which is currently being a hot subject in the high intensity laser psits for its wide applications in lithography, biologic imaging and ultrafast dynamics detecting, etc. As the improvements of the peak power and the focused intensity of laser, laser-matter interaction and other applications of laser require better beam quality and higher temporal contrast. In order to make the underlying mechanisms of the complex phenomena in laser-matter interactions clear, it is necessary to understand the temporal and spatial characteristics of pump laser pulses. Currently, many new methods and technologies developed for the terawatt and PW laser system effectively improve the beam quality and pulse contrast ratio.
