Force characteristics analysis on a superconducting sphere suspended by spherical coils

中文摘要In this paper, aiming at the force characteristics calculation on a spherical superconductor suspended by spherical coils, an approximate solution which can avoid complicated and tedious mathematical operations is introduced. The spherical coils are disposed as many single circular loops, which accords with the manufacture of spherical coils. Through a calculation example, the comparison between analytical results and simulation results by FEA software is presented. The influences on the suspension force from the locations and parameters of spherical coils is also analyzed in the paper.
