英文摘要Based on apatite fission track ages (FTA) of 41 samples collected from a south-north transect of the eastern Kunlun mountains. Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, China, this paper shows that (1) the ETA in different blocks increases with the distance from the South-Kunlun fault and Mid-Kunlun faults, respectively, indicating the control of the main faults on the tectonic evolution of this region; and (2) the thermal histories are characterized by slow cooling from similar to160 degreesC to similar to80 degreesC at similar to240 to similar to20 Ma, followed by rather rapid cooling to surface temperatures.
